Joyful Fighter Book Launch
Please join Joyful Founder, Diane Beyer for the launch of her hospital journals and preview of her line of hospital gowns.
It all started with a fighter...
Joyful Fighter was started in honor of my daughter, Candice. Born with a long list of medical issues, including Congenital Heart Defect (CHD), we spent the majority of our days in the hospital or at doctors' appointments.
Listen to Our Story
I am deeply inspired by how you change a difficult situation into something meaningful or something that can be learned from. We should all learn from Joyful Fighter how to be our best every day and if not to put on our big girl panties/ (or a dress that is really the happiest gown) and KEEP TRYING

I've been thinking about you and all that we have been through together in this journey. I couldn't just pick out one particular thing because everything you have done to make this life easier has come directly from your heart and into mine. You have always been there for me as a friend and even if you didn't realize what you were doing at the time, it helped me. Like when you brought Mardi Gras to the PICU. I know it wasn't just for me but it touched me and brightened my day. That day was very hard for me with everything that was going on and just that little touch of Mardi Gras made my day. Or the time you brought me coffee just to try to calm me down from my craziness of being a worried stressed-out heart mom. Or the very first time we met when Candice was still in NICU. You are going to do amazing things because you truly have a gift for true selflessness. It is what touches everyone who meets you.

I am so thankful for Diane and her family and their mission to spread joy and awareness throughout not just the Las Vegas valley, but the world. If it weren't for Diane and her wonderful ability to bring people together, I would have felt very alone in this journey of being a heart parent. When you see your child in and out of the operating room, and all they have to deal with that comes along with having a lifelong and serious heart defect, it can feel lonely and overwhelming. Diane has created a community that is both inviting and supportive, and I know I can count on her to be a constant support and light. Diane and her beautiful family inspire me daily. I am thankful for her good and giving heart, and the undeniable force of strength she is to all around her.

I absolutely loved the journal. There is nothing like this anywhere and I found it very helpful. After reading through the helpful tips and ideas of what questions to ask before procedures I felt a tease going into my daughter's heart surgery. Parents aren't always in the right frame of mind to think of these things until it’s too late to ask. It also helps reflect on the positives first when all one can seem to focus on is the negative in those scary moments. Thank you for creating this to help families like mine.
